I love how Fireheart resisted the impulse to center her avatar in the column of light and kept from going for symmetry. That makes “Recharge” a much more interesting picture than what might seem the logical placement. She seems to like to play with expectations and reject them.

“In the Light” is more symmetrical, though she’s actually slightly to the left of center and the hands are different. The real play, though, is on our expectations. Is the light so bright we can’t see her neck or is it free-floating? It’s better we don’t know.

“2028” gives us a different sort of drama – the fast frenzy of flying through the air on a skate/hover board.She has a fair number of fun action shots that keep her stream constantly surprising. I love the bubble she’s blowing. Now I think someone needs to make an applier for gum after it’s popped all over your face when you forget you’re flying and blow a bubble.
