I love her choice to do the picture in sepia, without all the bright colors that would distract from the picture and confuse the emotional context. She is framed by the moon. If you want, you could imagine her hair is a black full moon, perhaps in eclipse.

Alma’s lovely “Her soul was revealed at every moment, Through every gesture, every look is cleverly framed by the hands. I am curious what she is looking at. This is another picture that tones down the color story. This lets us focus on the picture and the women.

Kristina shared “A Different Kind of Wonderland.” This was the picture that pulled me into browsing the Flickr group. I love her wicked look over her shoulder, sharing a conspiratorial moment. This is Alice as I see her, just a little bit wicked. I mean she was pretty assumptive for a person in other people’s country and their houses. And look at her drug use. The expression on her face is delightful.
Wonderland 2.0 is a sim-based Flickr group. The sim gets seasonal makeovers but I looked at the new pics. There are 159 members and 720 pictures. It is a place that can inspire some fun photos, but it can also inspire some beautifully introspective pictures rich in emotional heft.
