Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting

Soul Hunter has a small, but gorgeous, photostream. This picture caught my eye because it is such a good example of cosplay art. He seems like a Crusader off to wrest Palestine from the Muslims. Do you ever wonder how uncomfortable those suits of armor must have been in the heat? I think it would be exhausting in the heat. Anyway, Soul captures the unquestioning belief that leads someone to leave their home and family to go off on a Crusade.

“Nightlife” is a fun small group photo. I love it when folks take pics of each other. You can see Christopher Saxton’s picture of the group here. What I thought was interesting was how Soul took a picture of himself alone in the same pose, but from just a slightly more forward angle. Somehow it gave the picture a very different feel. With his friends he seems relaxed, but solo he seems alert.

This picture caught my eye as well. I mean, what’s not to like? But I thought it seemed especially inviting when I saw the title which made me think of the song, one I like quite a bit. The thing is, Flickr pics usually fill the space so I often only get a short glance at the title by arrowing down and back up to the picture. So, I had created an understanding of this pic based on "Come Away With Me" by Norah Jones. After all, he looks inviting, like he is listening. But then, I looked again when I decided to feature it and saw the title is “Come At Me.” OK, so maybe he is still listening, but perhaps with more challenge than invitation. Either that, an invitation to a brawl? 

Soul Hunter’s stream is short and full of great pictures. He makes a point in his About page to stress that he does not use AI. This is a new account as he lost his first. It would be nice to see his development over the years, but there is no denying his talent.
