Boots ™ posted this marvelous “Be the Lighthouse” is a great example of clever framing, using the life preserver as a “viewing window” to see the lighthouse. Ships and lighthouses go together like bacon and eggs. I love that she found a new way to see the lighthouse. This is such a great picture.

“Elvion” is a lovely closeup picture of some wildflowers growing along railroad tracks. I am assuming the railroad line is no longer in service or they would have been mowed down. I love that she makes a star of the wildflowers. It’s such a gorgeous picture.

“New Life” is another lovely flower growing among the disused. This time it’s a daffodil which is a cultivar, but can spread like a wildflower after being planted. I love the bold yellow and red in this picture. What a great picture.
Boots ™ is a great travel guide taking lots of pictures and provide SLurls so you can go, too. I love how she looks for the small details and find the old and unused to provide context for the fresh and new life represented by the flowers. What fun.
