Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
Alorra Bloodrose’s “Sundog” is a beautiful shot of brilliant sundog. It’s gorgeous, though it seems unseasonal. Sundogs, or parhelia, happen when sunlight refracts off ice crystals in the air so it’s rare they are seen in Summer, but it’s not impossible. However, the thing about Second Life is you can have sundogs in any kind of weather, even without clouds to hold ice crystals in the air. I like that in addition to providing a link to visit the site in her description, she also tells us what sky setting she used.

“Geisha in Gold” is stunning. The face seems almost like an AI image, but it’s Second Life as Alorra not only provided a teleport link to the Blade Runner-themed sim, she also told us the filter she used to get the colors in the picture. That statue is simply amazing.

“Worn & Torn” is a couple’s photo and there’s no landmark to tell you how to teleport through life’s challenges and troubles, but I love that she is marking the victory over those challenges and the perseverance of their love and friendship. Sometimes we need to stop and pat ourselves on the back and say well done.
Alorra Bloodrose’s photostream is a mix of travel highlights and pictures of life and love from snowball fights to tasteful embraces.
