    Second Life is dead and buried and they don’t even know it yet.
    They’re not mentioned anywhere, even in jest, and when straight up brought up by anyone noone knows what it is.
    They quickly google or youtube it up and fall asleep at the videos, laugh at the graphics and if they get so far as to even bothering to install a viewer and still go through all the friction to even connect they’re greeted by silence, bots, the occasional predatory creator wanting to sell them stuff, or straight up crabby old people scolding them for trying to have fun.
    The party is not here anymore. It is a retirement home and still relevant and fun for the residents, but why pretend its anything else.
