Dreams offered “Sending everyone rays of sunshine and warm wishes and Happy Easter” to mark last Easter Sunday with a few pretty eggs hiding in the grass for the Easter Egg Hunt. You might laugh, but at first glance (and second) I thought that center egg was a baseball and was excited to see her not only commemorating Easter but the March 28th Opening Day of baseball season. Then I clicked through and saw it was an egg. That makes it a much more cohesive picture, of course, but I kind of liked my mistake.

So what did other folks do for Easter?

Roxaane Fyanucci invited bunnies into her kitchen for Easter Chocolaterie. It’s a good thing they are all made of chocolate and bread. What would real bunnies think about all those baked bunny cookies, I wonder?

Kitty Mills gives us some less edible bunnies. Their sleepy expressions might be explained by the plant the lefthand bunny is carrying. They are adorable and I love that she got up close and personal to shoot the picture.

My search was brought to an end by Flickr search misbehaving, but never fear, while most Second Life residents focused on the more commercial side of the holiday, the “holy day” was not forgotten:

Sunday Morning

Rocco Rossi’s Sunday Morning focuses on the sacred rather than the secular aspect of Easter. It’s also a lovely photo, the couple framing the cross and the beautiful sunrise illuminating the couple and the cross.
