Gross Rizzo is a Flickr microblogger with a unique style all her own, one that is hard to describe. “Pretty Lungs” is a good example. She has this sort of rockabilly/kawaii/goth/grunge vibe that I find charming and so very original. Consider this outfit, it dances around several styles but there is at least one element that keeps it from landing on one. Even her music video inspiration by Princess Chelsea has a similar off-kilter sensibility despite being very heavily autotuned.

I like Gross Rizzo’s style even though, on occasion, it is a little gross. It’s also cute, grim, edgy, and an entire glossary of style terminology. She can’t be pigeon-holed and that’s fantastic. I appreciate that she lists all her credits, but she only provides links to those who sponsor her, so there’s a fair amount of Marketplace searching to find everything. I wish she listed the end date for events. Hardly anybody does, but it is a great addition, helping people know whether to go to the event or the store.
