Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
Maloe Vansant’s photostream has been a favorite for close to fifteen years. I assumed I had written about her in the seven-plus years I have been writing this column, but what a huge oversight on my part. I have not. She is now doing a small series of pictures of women wearing veils. See here, here, here, and here. I love the richness of this pic. The sharp detail of the light and the statue. We can see the face through the veil to her vivid and striking face. I love that Maloe adds a bit of red by placing a flower on the papers.

X-Ray is fantastic and exactly the sort of picture I love. It has the pop sensibility I love and the pop of color. It’s a bit macabre, but then I like macabre so long as it’s not real life. The circle in a circle in a circle is extraordinary. This was part of Maloe’s “Freaking Beauties” exhibit at an in-world gallery

“If spiderman was a woman” is extraordinary with bold carmine eyes, mouth, and tattoos. The black eyelashes seem to be a message in code. The red appears painted on. I love the boldness and its simplicity.
Maloe Vansant’s photostream is amazing and one everyone should follow for creative, imaginative portraits. She always has a new idea, a new vision of showing people as she sees them.
