Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
Sue Kass’ photostream is overflowing with beautiful photos. In many of them, she uses a filter to make them look like a painting. I’ve used similar filters myself and they never look this good. I love this picture “Sand.” The composition is beautiful, using the Rule of Thirds. For some reason, when there is a picture of a body of water, I really love to see it as a painting.

“Train” is another beautiful example of the Rule of Thirds. I used to get so much reading done on the way to and from work. I love the brilliant, bright splash of red in her scarf.
“TV” is a great pic and I love the lighting coming from the TV.
Sue Kass’ photostream is extraordinary and you should go through it. I know a lot of folks prefer raw screenshots from Second Life, but I love to see what folks can do with a screenshot, turning it into a watercolor, an oil painting, or a sketch. She does some fantastic pics that are tall and narrow which made them a little awkward for this column. They make me think of magazine covers. It’s an extraordinary stream. She is a professional graphic designer and it shows.
