I love Lily Lovelace’s “I Turn My Camera On” and not just because I love that tune. [Listen Here] She’s using leading lines to help us follow the avatar’s line of sight. I should note the avatar is in the middle of the street which is not recommended in real life. I kind of love how her avatar is all in black so she is this “absence” of sorts in front of the streetscape.

“Bitter Sweet” is gorgeous, but if she isn’t a tribute to Ruth of Ozark then how does she look so much like her? I wonder if she has an equally vibrant turn of phrase?

“Moonbend” is simply beautiful. I love how we see the details even though it has been desaturated to a duotone. The song is appropriately astral. You might notice that though it appears centered, it really isn’t and there is more active space than dead space, It’s just a small difference, but it adds energy.
I love Lily Lovelace’s stream. She is back from nearly a year’s personal photography hiatus and that’s great news for photography lovers, especially those who love black and white photos. She didn’t leave SL, but concentrated on her store.
