I love “To the Moon” from Alfred Wessex. I love how he shows the avatars’ love for each other in such a simple way, how she leans into him, how he rests his arm on her leg. It shows a couple attuned to each other in an ordinary moment enjoying the night sky. I also like the subtle light that illuminates some of the grass but fades quickly outside their magic circle.

I like the red-black color story of “Urban.” The lighting really makes this picture.

“Untitled” is very typical of Wessex’s work. Straightforward fashion shoots turned on the side. I like the simple clarity of his pictures.
Alfred Wessex shoots marvelous clear pictures that are well-styled. I like his work. I do wish his pictures were not completely on the side, but more at an angle. Otherwise, I love the work he does.
