Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting

Scylla Rhiadra’s “Queen of May” is a lovely example of light creating mood. I love how she divides the picture into three diagonals with projected  light and shadow. The background is simple and abstracted into black and white so the focus is on her and the colors. It’s really a great fashion photo.

Wow! The next picture is a stunner:

“Surface and Depth” is a picture that stopped me in my tracks. I love how the dappled sunlight striking her back. I love that she resisted the impulse to make the lighting fall on her face or her outfit and let it be natural. I love it.

Life Drawing: Connection

“Life Drawing Connection” tells a story, the artist on the left and the model on the right, looking at each other and finding that personal easiness and trust that can make great art.

Scylla Rhiadra’s photostream is full of her exploration of light, with WindLight and projectors. She uses it to create a sense of naturalness as well as set the mood. She does several pictures with minimalist settings to highlight fashions and in others she goes with a fuller setting to tell a story. Have fun exploring!
