Justen Tyme’s Second Life is a harrowing adventure from one danger to the next if you check out his Flickr stream. Here “The Angel of Joy Attempts a Rescue” we see existential battles for life and death. Not quite the excitement of changing clothes on a platform (my Second Life) but needs must.
Next up, a negotiation with a seriously creepy corvid.
“Negotiation with Mr. Crow” is another picture suggesting an active, terror-inducing life. I wonder if I am the only one who thinks about corvid being only one letter different from covid and how much crows look like the plague doctors of the medieval era? Yes, I know COVID is really an acronym, COronaVIrusDisease, and not related at all to corvid, the Latin word for raven, but it is an intriguing little coincidence.

“Chaos Angel” shows a special skin created in honor of 2020 and all its excitement. I love the use of complementary blue and yellow colors. There is a lot of centering which is a common way to suggest power and reverence. It’s a great picture.
Justen Tyme illustrates his Second Life and it’s an adventurous one. With a penchant for fashion, I love that every picture has a snippet of storytelling, nothing complete, but a short idea to excite and stimulate the imagination.
