“Spring Is Near and the Goat Flips Out” is a bucolic picture on UnaMayLi’s photostream. It’s a lovely, romantic picture of a woman enjoying the lovely day and the goats frolicking, perhaps attention-seeking. They can be very social. I love how it looks so much like a watercolor with the desaturated colors. It is beautiful. It is also not representative of UnaMayLi’s far more surreal stream. 

After the break, a surprising and thoughtful call for empathy.

“Walk in my Shoes” is delightful. I love how she shows  her shadow while not showing her body. It does seem to invite that walk while also ensuring the experience will be more serious than just measuring how well the shoes fit.

With “Spaceman” UnaMayLi experiments even more. It is a very surreal portrait, but one that appeals to me. So, is his head full of empty space or full of the universe? Inquiring minds want to know. 

I love UnaMayLi’s photostream. It is not one I can describe easily. All three pictures are very different. Then there is “My Mood for Mother’s Day” which is so humorous and “Breathing Underwater” that is dramatic and powerful. She defies easy characterization other than to say, you should expect her work to change as she experiments all over the place.
