“Little Peonie” is a good introduction to Shioru Inshan’s lovely blog, Room 304. The colors are bold and her pictures are intriguing and artful. There is emotional element to this picture that caught my attention. Her pose is tentative as she contemplates entering this dark room. It just works so well.

After the cut, another blog post – one with a great color story.
“Rainy Day” uses the complementary yellow-blue color story to great effect. I am not fond of the photos turned completely on their side, but she artfully does it enough without forcing me to turn my head or my monitor. A complete horizontal makes a nice group banner and an irritating picture that really does not process. By not going completely horizontal, she works with how our brain sees things, rather than against it.

Room 304 is a Japanese blog so the directions are in Japanese. The first is an archive, the second is a link for reporting the blog. I guess I would move it way down to the bottom so mean or offended people have to work a little harder. The blog pictures are what drew me to her blog. They are colorful and full of intriguing details. I love her creativity and the bright and colorful energy she brings to her work.
She complies rigorously with Flickr’s rules about not linking which means some hard work finding the stores I linked to above. Mainly because one store changed its name.
I think one way to address the problem of not being able to link to a store is providing the creator’s name. That way we can find the store when they move or change names or if we, as blog readers confuse the name of the store with the name of the gacha pack. I looked for the Now and Always Backdrops store for a long time before I realized it was the name of the gacha set. That’s on me. This is a suggestion not just for Shiaro Inshan but for all the bloggers who don’t have Flickr Pro and are prohibited by Flickr TOS from providing links. Give the creators’ names and we can find them.
