“Spiked” is a great exemplar of Paradox Mercury’s avant-garde photostream. He is a model, stylist, and photographer who brings a high-fashion editorial edge to Flickr. Watch out, Jeffrey Graetsch, you have virtual competition! His work is instantly recognizable with distended and uncomfortable positions, a background the often radiates from the avatar to complement or echo the outfit, and always avant-garde experimental fashion.
His stream is best viewed in your privacy or with safety settings. But as you can see after the cut, most of the time he expresses that side in technically modest ways. Technically…
“The Masked Man” has the hallmarks of fetish fashion, black leather, masks, and eroticism. The masks in the background add a cheekiness to the photo that keeps it from being too serious for casual browsers.

“Moth-Eaten” is just one picture in a stunning editorial series he created for FLAWZ, the editorial fashion magazine. The entire series is stunning and also displays his exploration of androgynous fashion and gender freedom.
Do check out Paradox Mercury’s photostream. It is a creative collection that will encourage you to reimagine clothing and how it can be mixed and styled into art. There will be a few photos that are not for children, co-workers, or the easily offended, but for most of us, it’s an exciting stream.
