Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
Claire Vuissent’s self-portrait of herself as a photographer made me smile. I love her work and have since someone recommended I follow her back in 2023.
I often look at people’s Flickr faves to find new people to follow and thought it’s been a long while since I played my Faves game where I hop from one person’s faves to the next. If you want to play, too, the only rule is you keep looking at their faves until you find someone who is new to you. So whom did I find among Claire’s faves?

Pompeja is completely new to me and I am excited to start following her. The photo is very realistic. It could be a real life fashion shoot but I recognize those brands in her credits. She knows how to make fashion shots exciting. I mean, this is a very erotic photo despite showing absolutely nothing. But there is eroticism in the pose, the color, the use of shadow. It’s delightful. Now, on to her faves.

Wind Moonstone is another new-to-me artist and I am in love with the humor of her “Not Here.” Looking over her stream, I see she likes to shoot in silhouette. I like silhouettes, too. Sometimes the beauty of the form of an object or scene is lost in the distraction of color and patterns. Seen in stark silhouette, the deeper beauty of the form is revealed. If this picture was full of color and we saw her clothes, the flowers on the table, and so on, would we notice that all the chairs are different?
So, I love the favorites game and perhaps I will keep going the rest of the week as a birthday present to myself.
