Nong Han Kumphawapi Lake is a new Flickr group, less than a month old, that already has 77 members and 158 pictures. It’s all in service to documenting the pacific beauty of a new sim recreating the stunning beauty of the extraordinary lake in Thailand, a large body of water that seldom is more than a meter in depth. Lotuses can only grow in shallow water, so this lake is filled with lotuses both in real life and Second Life. Its extraordinary beauty is captured by Second Life’s intrepid photographers. NaomiE Renfold captures the lake at sunset with two glorious egrets. Their bright white plumage takes on the golden yellow from the sun as they stand among the magenta petals of the lotus. This such a gorgeous and dramatic picture.
